Summer School 2008

Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) is proud to host the 1st E&T (Education & Technology) summer school & conference between 01.–05. September 2008. This will be the kickoff of a series of summer schools for PhD candidates from several European countries.

"Education & technology" (E&T; http://www.edu-tech.eu) is an international project financed by the European Commission. The aim of the project E&T is to develop, test, implement, evaluate and disseminate a curriculum at postgraduate level in the field of educational technology. In order to reach the goal of qualifying and graduating PhD students in the field of educational technology five European universities and two public research institutes are collaborating to build up a European network to award joint PhD-degrees. The development of the joint English curriculum by the network is based on the expertise of the contributing institutions.

The current Summer school is financed by the Life Long Learning Programme (LLP) from the European Commission, as from 2009 the Germany Academic Exchange Service DAAD
will part finance this event.
